Is the Bible 100% the Word of God
The question always seems to arise; is the Bible the unadulterated word of God? I should not have to address this question at all, but I will. You have
probably heard people say, the Bible is "Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth". This is untrue just as the first statement above is untrue. Why would I say that? Because the Bible is 100% written about the word of God (Jesus). the Bible is about God sending His word into the world to reconcile His people back to Himself, a mystery that has been hidden since the foundation of the world.

John chapter 3 verses 1-4 & 14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This scripture makes it clear that Jesus is the Word of God and not the Bible. So, then what is the Bible. the Bible makes that clear also. Check out the two scriptures below.

2 Timothy 3 verses 12-17
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
John 5 verses 39-47
39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41 I receive not honour from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

As you can see from the scriptures above scriptures are inspired by God for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness. Then Jesus says the scriptures testify of Him and that Moses wrote of Jesus. Thus, the Bible is God's history, track record and prophecy of Jesus.

Revelation 19 verses 11-13
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called THE WORD OF GOD. (JESUS)

Revelation 1 verses 10-16
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: AND OUT OF HIS MOUTH WENT A SHARP TWO-EDGED SWORD:

Hebrews 4 verses 12-14
12 For THE WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any TWO-EDGED SWORD, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
The church has spent too much time glorifying the book, instead of glorifying God and Jesus. Jesus rose up out of the grave with all power and authority in heaven and on earth. When every knee bows and every tongue confess the name Jesus, then Jesus turns it all back over to the Father, that He God the Father may be all and all.

Hebrews 10 verses 5-7
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book IT IS WRITTEN OF ME,) to do thy will, O God.

John 21 verses 24-25
24 This is the disciple that beareth witness of these things and wrote these things: and we know that his witness is true.
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that should be written

The bible is written of Jesus, He is the word that proceeded from the mouth of God to not return back void. The word left His Father and fulfilled everything that the Father sent Him to do and everything that was written of Him. Then He returned back to sit at the right hand of glory. ALL THINGS WRITTEN ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD (JESUS) ARE IN THIS BOOK WE CALL THE BIBLE.
