SEED

​

John 3 verses 3-7

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto you, 'You must be born again.'

 

One of the sad things about Christianity is that many believe that just because you say you are a Christian, that means you are one. You do not become a true Christian by just saying it. Matthew 7: 21-23, 21 Jesus said; not everyone that says, Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven", but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity. As we can see according to Jesus, just because you call Him: 'Lord, Lord', it means nothing. Christianity is based on the born-again experience and faith. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Faith is: "action, based on belief, sustained by confidence." This is why we do what Jesus says and live according to God's ways. Because we believe that He is. The reason we maintain and continue in His ways, is because we believe that He is. All of our actions are done and sustained based on believing that He is.

​

We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, but in this study we are dealing with the born again experience. To understand this, we must first know that there is a natural birth and there is a spiritual birth. There is a fleshly (of water) birth and spiritual (born again) birth. Peter 1: 23 tells of the born again experience, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

 

The word of God is the seed, and Jesus is the word of God. The born again experience begins with the receiving of Jesus Christ into our hearts. This is why you need not worry about those fake Christians, who only say Lord, Lord. Jesus said, you can tell a good tree by the fruit that it bares. A corrupt (evil) tree can not bare good fruit, neither can a good tree bare evil fruit. 

​

Genesis 1 verses 11-12

11 Then God said, let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in themselves; and it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in themselves, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1 verses 21-22

21 God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.

Genesis 1 verses 24-25

24 Then God said, let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind; and it was so. 25 God made the beast of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1 verses 26-28

26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

These scriptures have revealed to us all we need to know. God created everything with its seed within itself. This way all living things can be fruitful and multiply. Adam the very first man and Eve his wife was able to multiply by Adam putting a seed (sperm) in his wife. Adam and Eve were able to produce good (incorruptible) fruit to God. But once Adam fell, he could only produce bad (corruptible) fruit to God. From this point God had a redemption plan in place, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. God had to keep Adam from eating of the tree of life because he was now in a corrupt state. God could now one day in the future, plant His seed into man (into the seed of Abraham); which would be planted into Mary to produce Jesus (there would come one, the Seed of the woman, He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel) who would become that Life giving Spirit, thus we have the born-again experience.

Genesis 3 verses 22-24

22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil; and now, he might stretch forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever. 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken. 24 So He drove out the man, and placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every direction, to guard the way of the tree of life.

​

After Adam ate of the tree of good and evil, God said, man has become as one of Us. Adam had now taken on a different nature, knowing good and evil, but only able to do evil. God knows good and evil, but God always does good. God had to remove man from the garden and put a guard to keep Adam away from the tree of life. If Adam had eaten of the tree of life, he would have lived in that state forever and could not have been redeemed. He could only produce corrupt fruit or seed. By God removing Adam out of the garden in this state, he, one day, could be redeemed by Him (His Seed), by the born-again experience. God's word (seed) became flesh and died for us and raised from the dead to become a life-giving spirit.

The Parable of the Sower gives us the greatest insight on the born again experience. Listen at what Luke 8: 10-11 said, and Jesus said, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; but to others I speak in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

 

This parable tells us what many will not want to hear. But as Jesus said, those who have ears to hear, let them hear. It shows us that only 1/4 of those that hear the word, will receive the born-again experience. Listen to what the parable says, the word of God will go into some people's heart, and just like seed that fell on the wayside. The birds (the devil) steal it from their heart, they then do not believe and thus are not saved nor (born again). The word of God goes into others' heart, and just like the seed that fell on stony ground. They have no root, but receive the word with joy, but trials and tribulation come, they can only believe or sustain for a little while. Thus, never receive the born-again experience. Then there are those that the word of God, it goes into their heart, and just like the seed that fell among thorns. Then the cares, riches and the pleasures of this world choke the word out of them. Thus again, they never receive the born-again experience.

​

Finally, there are those who the word of God goes into their hearts, they become like seed in good soil. They start to bring forth fruit to God, thus receive the born again experience. We can deceive man into thinking you are Christians, but you can never deceive God. Many will infiltrate the Church, desire positions of power, spy or for whatever other reasons they come in. These people do not know God nor His Son Jesus. These people are Judas, Jesus had a Judas and so will every Church. Trust me on this, God knows those who are His. Without Jesus in you, you cannot produce anything for God. Romans 9: 28-29 For He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness; because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. 29. And as Isaiah said before 'Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a Seed, we would have become as Sodom and been made like unto Gomorrha.' We would not be able to produce anything good to Him; thus He would destroy us. Thank you, Father God, that you left us a Seed!

Matthew 13 verses 37-39

37 Jesus answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man (Jesus); 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one. 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers are the angels.

 

As I said above, God knows those who are His, and those who are not. So much for that theory that God loves everybody. The word said that God is willing that none should perish, but that all should come to the truth. God loves those who love Him, and Jesus said if you love Me, you will obey what I say. Many come into the kingdom of God and try to impose their will on God. Jesus said, those that do the will of My Father will abide forever. What is His will? To go into all the world and preach the good news: that God is willing that none should perish, but that all should repent from their evil ways and come to the truth; that God is willing to give eternal life to any who are willing to accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. He then fills us with His Spirit so that we can now bare fruit to Him.

Matthew 7 verses 17-20

17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. By your doctrine that you teach, God will know the fruit you produce. Also, when you receive God's Spirit in you, you should start to produce spiritual fruit. You will know a good tree; Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher or Elder by the people whom they teach.

 

Galatians 5 verses 22-26

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 3 verses 16,19 and 29

16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made, He said not, and to seeds as of many; but as of one. And to your Seed which is Christ.

19 Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgression till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 29 And if you be Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

1 Corinthians 15 verse 50

50 Now this I say, brethren that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

​

Many Christians need to understand this: once Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, man's flesh and blood became corrupt. From this point on, I don't care how many good of works you think you have done; your flesh and blood (your human body) cannot get into God's kingdom. This is why the bible says, 'not by any works of righteousness you have done, but by grace you have been saved. It is the gift of God.' The only way you can get into God's kingdom is by the born-again experience that comes through Jesus Christ. This is what makes you His, not by how many times you go to church; not because you say you are a Christian; not because you think you are a good person; not because you do good works; not because you give to charities; not because you give money to a church and definitely not because you are rich (because someone lied and told Christians that if they are rich, that God has blessed them). "What a lie!" We can only get into God's kingdom by Him placing His son, Jesus, in you. Remember this: you can cover a pig with a suit, but it's still a pig. A fancy suit does not make you a man or woman of God. It's only by what God places in you, that's what makes you His. Listen at what 1 Peter 3: 21 says, 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism (of the Holy Spirit) does also now save us, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Once again, it is what God puts in you that makes you a Christian.

John 1: 11-13 He (Jesus) came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13. which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God.

Luke 17: 20-21 And when He was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, the kingdom of God comes not with observation. 21. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Colossians 1: 26-27 Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints. 27. To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ (Seed) in you, the hope of glory.

 

This is the born again experience: God places His seed (Jesus, the Word and the Holy Spirit) in us. The part that He places in us can not sin (so God does not impute sin to us). And the Spirit that is in us causes us to bare fruit to God (starting from the inside outward). This is the greatness of God when He said in Genesis 3: 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel. God placed His Seed inside of Mary, the virgin, the seed of Abraham (also the seed of Adam). This made her child, Jesus, become the seed of Abraham, seed of Adam and also at the same time, the Seed of God. Jesus can now become the second Adam and make up for the mistake of the first Adam (by giving up His life as a sacrifice and tasting death for every man). Jesus can also now become that Seed of promise which was promised to Abraham. Jesus now makes it possible for God to place His Spirit (seed/word) inside of man, and now man can begin to produce fruit to God again. This is the born again experience (or birth of the Spirit). This same Spirit in us will raise us up in the last day, when we die. You see God knows those who are His, by the Spirit of truth that He places in them.

Genesis 22 verses 15-18

15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Hebrews 2 verses 14-16

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Luke 8 verses 9-11

The Parable of the Sower gives us the greatest insight on the born again experience; And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God (Jesus).

Ezekiel 36 verses 22-27

22 Ezekiel gives us the prophecy of the born again experience. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit (Seed) will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

1 John 3:9

9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for His seed (Spirit) remains in him: he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Does this mean we will never sin again? Absolutely not! As long as we live in this corrupt body, we will sin. But we will never be brought under the control of the sin. Listen at what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6: 9-12 Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. 10. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11. And such were some of you: but you are washed (made clean), but you are sanctified (set apart as holy), but you are justified (found blameless) in the name of the Lord Jesus, by the Spirit of our God. 12. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient (good for me). All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Finally, listen to what the born-again experience does: Even though God holds no sin against you, your lifestyles ought not be controlled by the things God calls sins and abominations (because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world). Your lifestyles will not be controlled by the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and the pleasures of this life. Your life will not be controlled by anything other than the Spirit of God and the will of God. This is how you can tell the good tree that bears fruit to God. Many can say they are Christians, but their lifestyles prove that they are not God's. Again, falling in a sin does not make you not a child of God; being brought under the power of anything and being controlled by it is the problem. That becomes idolatry.  the Bible says confess  (admitting your fault or wrong) your sins and God will give you a clean slate. When we get the born again experience, we bare fruit to God and we are sealed till the day God calls us home. The bible says, when you walk in the Spirit, you are not under the law (where there is no law, sin cannot be imputed). Ephesians 1:12-14 That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13. In Whom you also trusted after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit (Seed) of promise, 14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

      

If the root is Holy (God), so are the branches (you & I) and the fruit (the souls God brings into the body through us).
